and continues...

The next day we were at Belize and we went to a museum that used to be a jail.  As I was going through the pictures, I noticed that we didn't take any pictures of the museum.  We couldn't take any inside, but we didn't even take any of the outside.  So, sorry you only get pictures of us in the street.

We thought this was a funny thing to be able to sale :)
My little monkey :)

This is a picture down one of the main streets.  It was really crazy.  This was the capitol city and it was soo run down.  Closer to the museum there was a lot of piles of trash on the side of the road.  You would think that it was the slummy part of town, not he capitol city.

Our next towel animal, a swan.

That night after dinner, we went out on deck.  Erick and Zach decided to play on the big chess bord.

Eric making his move

Zach in deep thought.  Eric won this match and Zach really wanted a rematch but every time we went back someone else was playing.

The next day we were at Isla Roatan.  These guys were right off the boat.  They played all day until everyone got back on the ship.  You would think they would get tired of standing there playing all day, but they still had smiles on their faces.

Sara and I at a fountain just off the boat

Eric and Zach thinking they are all that :)

The island from just off port.

More of the island.

We just decided to go to the beach this day...since all the shore excursions were going to the beach anyway and this way was a lot less expensive :) ...  Me at the beach

Zach at the beach

I wrote our names in the sand

Zach took a picture of Sara's shadow.  He thought she looked like Medusa.

Us getting photo bombed by Eric

Eric was so happy to be there :)

Me after the swim

It was one of the most gorgeous beaches I have ever been to.  The sand was soft and the water was so nice.

Another picture of the beach.

This was a cashew apple tree.  The taxi driver said the fruit is really yummy but they can't transport it because they go bad too fast.

Here is a closer look.  The dark green thing at the bottom of the apple is the cashew.  They have to husk it and clean it before it is edible because they have a coating on them that is poisonous.  There is only one cashew per apple.  Crazy!

Picture from the taxi ride.

Our boat from another shore.

Eric and Sara back at port.

I posted this picture for one reason.  Apparently, this picture was taken to distract me from Zach who is somewhere behind me buying me a present for Mother's Day since I was pregnant on the cruise.  I had no idea.  I thought he was gone going to the bathroom or something.  It was an amazing surprise!

Zach and I back at port

All of us :)

These next pictures are taken from the boat.  It was such a gorgeous island.

Our next towel animal, an elephant.

He looks so sad

The fun continues...

I will be only posting a few days at a time so you don't get picture overload :)
This was on the boat the first day.  Our first day was a day at sea.  It was way relaxing :)

This guy made this ice sculpture in about 3 minutes. It was Crazy!!

Sorry for the fuzziness. There was a lot of humidity in the air with the ice and we didn't get any non fuzzy pictures of this guy

Eric entered a hairy chest contest.  We all tease him...and he teases himself...with how hairy he is (that is compared to all of the guys we hang around with).

He had to do a Tarzan call and a dance to the judges.

The judges had to feel his hair, front and back, before giving him a score.  All I know is that I really wouldn't want to be a judge and feel a lot of sweaty guys chest and back hair. Yuck.  No, he didn't win, but it was a lot of fun.

Our first night was a formal night.  It is kinda fun to get all dressed up and go to a fancy dinner.

Our next towel animal...a pig, or a dog.  We weren't quite sure.

Our first stop was Cozumel.  We had to take a boat to Playa Del Carmen so we could go to the ruins of Tulum.  This is a coconut tree.  They were lining the streets.  It was kinda cool.

In the streets outside the City of Tulum.  That is one of the 2 entrances into the city.

This is the main entrance.  It was really short.  We obviously couldn't have lived back then being as tall as we are :)

Going through the entrance.

We don't remember what everything was that we took pictures of.  Sorry.  These aren't all the pictures either, they are just the best ones :)  Just sit back and enjoy the ruins :)

We do have video of EVERYTHING the tour guide said.  It is a long video so I won't worry about posting it.

This is the main building in the ruins.  They told the seasons by how the sun came through the windows of the buildings.
This is a tomb.  You can kind of see the stairs going up the side farthest away.  They did that so when they resurrected they could walk up the stairs straight to east.  There was also holes on each side so that it looked like a cross.  I don't remember if the holes were walk ways, or if they were used to hold personal belongings.

I think this was one of their churches.  The guide was saying that they made the doors so small so they had to bow when you went in.

This was one of the corners of the same building.  It has a face.  Can you see it?  There was a face on both the front corners.

Us and Eric and Sara

Us on our way back to the little town to do some shopping.

After the tour, we got bussed back to the boat and this was the beach.  It looked amazing.

Me at the dock to our boat that would take us back to Cozumel.

More of the beach.

Which one is our boat :)

Zach with our dinosour towel animal.

Look forward the next days to come :)
