Sorry, I am a little behind, but really trying to catch up :)
In May, we went to Idaho. It was Chris's first long trip and he did soo well :) We went to see my sister and her family in Chubbick while we drove to Boise to see Wicked :)
At the Morrison Center in Boise just before the play.
We wanted a picture in front of a Wicked poster, and this is all they had :(
This is the view of the stage from our seats :)
It was such an amazing play and we are soo glad that such an amazing family that was willing to watch Chris so we could go and watch the Amazing play. I will really recommend it to anyone. It is my #2 musical for sure :)
The next day we decided to go to Craters of the Moon in Idaho. We figured, since we are there, we can do a little sight seeing...since there isn't a ton to sight see in Idaho :)
Me and Chris standing next to some lava sculptures
lava fields
Lava flow
On the trail on the way to the caves.
Sink hole
Going inside the Cave. We didn't have flash lights so we just hung out at the opening :)
A hole out the side of the cave
Me and Chris outside the cave.
Denise in the cave
Cool lava rock :)
View from inside the cave.
One of the exits of the Indian Cave
We thought this was cool that we were walking on top of a big hole!
going down into Indian Cave
Looking down into the entrance of the cave
This is an opening in the middle of the cave...we thought it was the end, but then couldn't find a way to get out :)
Cool rocks on the ceiling of the cave
our cute little family :)
Getting closer to the exit :)
Chris really loves walking around in the backpack. He loved looking around at everything :)
Me and Chris just hanging out :)
Another family picture in the snow :)
The little tunnel to the exit. It was really kinda a tight squeeze with me and Chris.
Walking back to the trail. It was funny, because all along the trail it said to not walk on the rocks...then at the end of the cave, the only way to get back to the trail was to walk on the rocks :P
Zach at one of the openings of Indian Cave
Ethen in his "bed" It was soo funny that he actually fit :)
We really had an amazing time. We love that we could spend time with my sisters family which we don't get to see that often. Chris was so sad to go home.
