The fun continues...

I will be only posting a few days at a time so you don't get picture overload :)

This was on the boat the first day.  Our first day was a day at sea.  It was way relaxing :)

This guy made this ice sculpture in about 3 minutes. It was Crazy!!

Eric entered a hairy chest contest.  We all tease him...and he teases himself...with how hairy he is (that is compared to all of the guys we hang around with). 

He had to do a Tarzan call and a dance to the judges.

The judges had to feel his hair, front and back, before giving him a score.  All I know is that I really wouldn't want to be a judge and feel a lot of sweaty guys chest and back hair. Yuck.  No, he didn't win, but it was a lot of fun.

Our first night was a formal night.  It is kinda fun to get all dressed up and go to a fancy dinner. 

Our next towel animal...a pig, or a dog.  We weren't quite sure.

Our first stop was Cozumel.  We had to take a boat to Playa Del Carmen so we could go to the ruins of Tulum.  This is a coconut tree.  They were lining the streets.  It was kinda cool.

This is the main entrance.  It was really short.  We obviously couldn't have lived back then being as tall as we are :)

We don't remember what everything was that we took pictures of.  Sorry.  These aren't all the pictures either, they are just the best ones :)  Just sit back and enjoy the ruins :)

We do have video of EVERYTHING the tour guide said.  It is a long video so I won't worry about posting it.

This is the main building in the ruins.  They told the seasons by how the sun came through the windows of the buildings.

This is a tomb.  You can kind of see the stairs going up the side farthest away.  They did that so when they resurrected they could walk up the stairs straight to east.  There was also holes on each side so that it looked like a cross.  I don't remember if the holes were walk ways, or if they were used to hold personal belongings.

 I think this was one of their churches.  The guide was saying that they made the doors so small so they had to bow when you went in.

This was one of the corners of the same building.  It has a face.  Can you see it?  There was a face on both the front corners.

After the tour, we got bussed back to the boat and this was the beach.  It looked amazing.

Crusin' the Caribbean

Yes, I am finally updating the blog!  Shocking I know.  I finally found time in my life during the move and all to sit and show what fun adventures we had this summer. 

In May we went on a Caribbean Cruse with a couple of our friends Eric and Sara.  It was a blast, and a great adventure :)

Our dog kept jumping in our suitcase when we were packing. I guess she didn't want us to leave.

This is us once we arrived at the port.  We were sooo tired because we took a red eye flight over from SLC so we could be in Miami by 8am.  I never really want to do a red eye again that is for sure.

Don't ask me what Eric is doing in this picture.  It looks like he is going to eat me :)   I know that we didn't eat a real meal since we left SLC but he really didn't have to come after me :)  jk

If you look close, there is another cruise boat following us.  They set sail right after us and pretty much followed us the whole way. 

You can't see it very well, but there are some sail boats on the water that we thought were kinda cool.

The first morning on the boat :)   Zach had a hard boiled egg that split and he decided that it looked like a mouth.  He didn't end up eating the egg at all I don't think :)

This marks the end of the pictures taken by our camera :(   After breakfast we all decided to go swimming, since it was a day at sea and there really isn't a ton of stuff to do on the boat mid morning.  We grabed the camera and headed off.  Zach told me to remind  him that the camera was in his pocket.  I had to take a break before we got to the pool and he was in the pool by the time I got there...since I had to find out where the restrooms were.  I got in and felt his pockets and in them was the camera.  That's right Zach SWAM with the camera in his pocket on DAY ONE of our cruise.  We were soo grateful for Eric and Sara who actually packed a spare camera that we were able to use the rest of the week.

Ok...

I know that I still need to post about our cruise that we took the first of May. I promise that it will happen soon. I thought, though, that I needed to announce something to all of you. WERE PREGNANT!!! You read right. We are going to have a little addition to our family in December. I am 10 weeks right now. I know a question that you are all wondering, and NO, I haven't been sick at all *knock on wood* ^_^ We are both so excited for this new adventure in our lives.

5 YEARS

I can't believe we have been married for 5 years. We started the morning with the gifts. I got Zach a wallet that was way over due :) Love ya honey but your old one was kinda falling apart. Then it was my turn. I didn't know what was in store for me hence the wallet for him. He bought us tickets to Legally Blonde at Capitol Theater (it was really funny, and very recommended). Then he handed me this box...

I can't believe I got a Journey pendant. They are sapphires since that is the 5 year anniversary stone :) (and diamonds were too expensive)

Then after we both worked, we went out to dinner at a place in SLC called Stoneground. The food was sooooo yummy!! It is highly recommended, and the price was right :)



After dinner we went home and watched a movie. We kept it kinda low key since our anniversary trip is our cruse we are going on in May.

Love you so much sweet heart. 5 years down, an eternity to go

Bountiful Basket :)

We heard of this food co-op from my sisters and we thought it would be fun to see what it is all about.


This is just after we picked up our basket. It is more that I thought it would be :)


We got cabbage, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, lettuce, asparagus, squash, radishes, apples, celery, and cucumbers. It was really a lot for the two of us. We plan on getting one a week until we are overloaded ^_^

My new adventure

That's right lady's and gentlemen, I made cupcakes. Not just any cupcakes, ones with homemade fondant on them :) I got together with a friend that self taught herself to do stuff like this and she taught me the trick to making marshmallow fondant. I am way excited to start putting this to use and practicing my skills :) Any one want cake?
